Mischief Managed and Dancin Through Life

This last weekend was a lot of fun.  My weekend started Thursday evening (who doesn't love a weekend starting a day early) My Aunt Tonya picked me up and we headed to Salt Lake, that night was filled with good food and Harry Potter 7 Part 1.  We then went to our 12:55am showing.  This is our before picture.  There would of been an after picture, except by that time it was 3:30 am, and considering I spent the last 45 minutes of the movie crying, we decided against it.  Harry Potter is one of those things that I can cry shamelessly over, The last four books, and five movies are big tear jerkers for me. When Cedric dies I manage it ok, then Sirus dies and there are a few more tears, Dumbledore dies, and there is a constant stream, then Snape dies and Harry gets to see his family with the Resurrection Stone and I can no longer see the pages of the book.  Then in the movie Alan Rickman did SUCH and amazing job, I could hardly see out of my glasses they became so wet.

So Friday after sleeping in we went out to lunch with my grandparents for Tonya's birthday, and then I fell back asleep... for approximately four hours.  That evening I went to a concert in Brigham Young Historic Park with my grandparents.  The group performing was SunShade 'n' Rain. They did a three part harmony to some rather old songs.. that I should not have known.  Yet there was not a song I did not know.  They sang songs from Neil Diamond, Elvis, Eddie Arnold, and many others of those great classics.  My Grandma was very impressed that I knew all the songs, said it showed "great taste" :)

Saturday morning after a wonderful breakfast of sourdough pancakes made by my amazing Papa I came back home.  Where I went to work.  We were setting up for a dance, an invitational dance, which was A LOT of work.  We put up gossamer a Christmas lights from the ceiling, we made a Cinderella carriage, which was a lot of work, set tables, and got activities ready.  That night, the dance was amazing fun.  Dancing, sometimes (ok most times) a little crazily with wonderful friends.  Who could ask for a better end to a weekend?
