London Town

Oops. I wanted to have theses all done the week after we got back, but I just noticed that somehow it has been a month. Which is hard to believe, I looked at our calendar and exactly a month ago we were flying back into America. I can hardly believe it.

So anyways day two of England. Because of our delayed flight our plans got shifted and we spent our first day watching the changing of the guard and the London Eye. We were not smart and did not buy tube passes that day. Because really how could we see anything if we were underground? Well that first day my fitbit recorded 25,000 steps that day. and pretty for our whole trip I was consistently in the 20,000-25,000 steps.  It was an intense two weeks. But totally worth it.

Ok enough chatter- now pictures.

We got to the changing of the guard early, about an hour and a half early, and had pretty good spots to see things. I couldn't believe how people shove their way in and lift their arms up for pictures. I had a lady who kept pushing me and moved a stroller the guy standing next to me was trying to keep track of while watching his two kids. I mean it was a little ridiculous. I mean, why do we live through our phones?

I didn't pack extra bobby pins in my backpack. I didn't make that mistake again.

outside St Pauls, we had just missed the last tour of the day. But we did get some good burgers nearby. Also jet lag looks good on me doesn't it?
